Habit Perfect Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how HabitPerfect ("the App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our iOS application.
Information we collect
Data you provide
- Habit data — habit names, icons, colors, frequency settings, and sort order.
- Completion records — dates, optional notes, and optional mood entries you log when completing a habit.
- Preferences — theme, notification times, haptic/sound/animation toggles.
All of the above is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is protected by iOS data encryption. We do not have access to it.
Data collected automatically
To operate and improve the App, we may collect limited technical information through third-party service providers:
- Diagnostics — crash logs, performance data.
- Usage data — anonymized events about how features are used.
- Device information — operating system version, app version, language, and similar technical data.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifier (IDFA).
How we use information
- Provide and improve the App. Habit data, completions, preferences (all local).
- Send habit reminders and daily summaries. Habit names, streak counts, reminder times (local notifications only).
- Understand usage patterns and improve features. Firebase Analytics events.
- Measure advertising effectiveness. Apple Search Ads attribution, SKAdNetwork conversion values.
- Process purchases. Apple StoreKit transaction data.
Third-party services
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC). Usage analytics.
- StoreKit 2 (Apple Inc.). In-app purchases and subscription management.
- AdServices / SKAdNetwork (Apple Inc.). Advertising attribution.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is shared with third parties only as described above (Firebase for analytics, Apple for attribution and purchases).
Data export and deletion
- Export. Premium users can export all habit and completion data as JSON or CSV from Settings.
- Deletion. You can delete individual habits or reset all data from within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
- Analytics data retained by Firebase is subject to Google's data retention policies and is automatically deleted after several months.
Home screen widget
The App shares a snapshot of today's habits (names, icons, completion status, streaks) with its home screen widget via a shared app group container. This data never leaves your device.
Data security
All local data is protected by iOS Data Protection. All network communication uses HTTPS.
Children's privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided data through the App, please contact us.
International users
Your data is stored locally on your device. Analytics data processed by Firebase may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States or other countries where Google operates. By using the App you consent to this transfer.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Since nearly all data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly through the App's export and deletion features. For any additional requests, contact us below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
